There are 18 options to choose from last I checked, one per talent. I remember us having almost twice that many before, but I think we should at least have a 19th option, the option to choose a custom home that we designed. Also, if you haven't tried decorating yet, I'd recommend waiting to decorate until the issue of the disappearing furniture is fixed. If you have, however, only one item at a time for now, screencap each time, screencap everywhere decorated and it wouldn't hurt to record your screen either; this way you'll capture your entire house in one convenient file.
