How do i put? Gifs on my Page? it isn't workingi've tried many times but they never load please help

I use imgur. First upload your image to imgur at https://imgur.com . Then click on the image. Copy the BBcode or the LinkedBBcode. Go to your forum page and click on the DIY. Then go to block and choose Block 1 or 2 or 3. Add the block to your page by checking it. On the block click edit then paste the BBcode in the box. Then click OK. Move the box where you want on your page. Go to the DIY button and click Save. i tried that too but for me all it does is post the link.I want visitors to see the gif when they come on my page, not a link. are there any other ways

what i usually do is insert the gif link of the gif i have saved onto my laptop and place it on as

[ img ] gif link here [ / img ] hope this helps you out
