Hello everyone!
I'd love to see everyone's favorite birds and maybe a fun fact about them I'll start

This is a kookaburra! They're native to Auaralia and are a kind of Kingfisher. Despite being chubby, fluffy, and cute, they are carnivores. They also have the silliest call that I strongly suggest looking up on YouTube!
I've met a couple but I want to travel to Australia one day to see all my favorite birds in their natural habitat

Ice frigid! This reminds me not only of the ptarmigan I wrote of quite a while back, but of a recent dream I had of a Hatchimal that contained Big Bird from Sesame Street! Speaking of, you can find said thread here:

And the follow-up thread I wrote here:

In case you can't see the image of the ptarmigan blending almost perfectly with the snow, here she is.

She's beautiful! I love pudgey birds so much! I can't believe I've never seen one before. They're in the same order as quails (another favorite of mine) I also love the lil fluffs on their feet

Here's a pic of Silver petting that same ptarmigan. By the by, Silver's actually pretty tall for a fairy, but there are some taller still than her.
