Why I started saving my story threads offline

I'd not too long ago begun to realise what could happen to my works in the event this site or my account was over, so today I figured, why not save a backup or three? Every picture I ever uploaded here I had offline first and have saved at least one backup, so why not save some of my stories from here too? Of course, I wouldn't reupload them where inappropriate because we have to be careful what we upload, and besides, if our work is lost from this site, why not ensure a backup or three offline so we can still access it if needed?
