When Flash Player goes, what will happen to some features?

Good day, fairies.

As 2020 draws to an end, so threatens the end of Flash Player for Chrome users. I use FairyABC on the Chrome browser because it loads much faster, whereas Safari doesn't load at all.
What other features will not be available to Chrome users without Flash Player? Pixie Hollow? Changing profile pictures?
Will these Flash features be replaced by javascript, or is there another recommended browser that I should switch to for a better FairyABC experience?

I know it's a lot of questions, but I couldn't help them. I hope this speaks for other fairies on the forum as well.

Have a lovely day, and may the wind be steady beneath your wings.

Finally! I'm not the only one concerned about the end of Flash! I just read that there are now a few games out there that are now post-flash, but I have a feeling the majority of the flash content will be history next year.

I'm worried too... I read Susie's post and I still have some questions.... 1.0 is the most stable version of pixie hollow right now even though new players can't get in. There is little to no lag and I don't think 2.0 is ready to handle that many players at one time yet. Unless that changes it worries me that 1.0 might be removed... i love 1.0 and I would love to see one more patch to it so new players can enjoy it as well. Also I'm worried about uploading images... right now that uses flash and it would be a shame if we could not add anymore to our albums after Dec 2020! I make outfits and cosplays every month here on fairyabc... it would be wrong if people could no longer share them on fairyabc... let alone the new players that would never be able to edit their pages or add any album photos!

I would argue that 2.0 is the more stable version in a lot of ways, actually. Either way, 1.0 does not use Flash and there are no plans to remove it. Not to say I think the redirect issue will be patched anytime soon , but the game will stay live.

I imagine most of the current Flash content on the forum will be replaced with HTML5, image upload included.

Most of the DF Official flashgames will be gone unless you save them for offline use.

If I ever find a way to save the bigger games, I'm doing just that while I still can.

How do you save DF games for offline use?
