How to keep your account safe
Edited by Akui at 2017-12-2 18:05I had just read Victoria's thread about how someone's account was stolen. This was very concerning to me because I work in technology and there are steps that everyone can take to avoid the problem.

-Never share your password or account email, even when they are a close friend. By sharing these things, you may be letting an unwanted person take control of your account.
-Block when necessary. That is a very important thing to do.
-What you put on the internet could potentially be seen by anyone. Even if it is between friends, it can relay around.
-Never try getting involved in someone else's hacking situation. This is a dangerous mistake, but so many people have done this and even I have.
-Avoid devious online forms and websites.
-Confront the person. If there truly is someone asking for your password, be logical and blunt about how what they are doing is wrong.
her thread wasn't about people using other peoples passwords. her thread was about people using hacking tools to change fairies in game and not being able to access their forum accounts, that's why all these situations are in game situations and not form posts.
LITERALLY i have never shared my password with anyone, even changed it multiple times, and people have still been able to access and frame my fairy. btw confronting the person makes the situation worse until u both get over urselves and form a friendship lol banana replied at 2017-12-2 18:21
